Our Story
Precision Veterinary Products started in a West Texas calving barn. We were tired of equipment that failed in the field. So we went and found better.
Abilene, Texas — 2009
Dr. Wade Harmon and Dr. Carla Reyes were running large-animal practices in West Texas when they kept running into the same wall: portable ultrasound units that fogged up, overheated, or died mid-pregnancy check. The gear designed for clinical settings wasn't built for dusty pens and 100-degree summers.
They started sourcing equipment directly from manufacturers — testing units on actual working ranches before recommending them to colleagues. Word spread. Other vets started asking where to get the same gear. That informal network became Precision Veterinary Products.
Today we carry a curated catalog of portable ultrasound systems, probes, and accessories — every one of them field-tested by working vets before it earns a spot on our site.
What We Stand For
Every product we carry has been tested in real working conditions — dusty pens, cold mornings, and tight calving schedules. If it can't hold up, we don't sell it.
We source direct from manufacturers and pass the savings to you. Veterinary-grade equipment shouldn't require a hospital budget.
Our support team includes working large-animal vets. When you call with a technical question, you get a real answer — not a script.
Headquartered in Abilene with a warehouse in San Antonio. Orders ship same day. Returns are handled by people who pick up the phone.
